The song deftly demonstrates both the heavy and melodic side of the band, all the while exploring news lyrical territory.
“I went into this song wanting to talk about things other than myself and my personal experiences in life,” Tewers states. “Our country and the state of this world is horrifying and disheartening. We have politicians, corporate elites, and other beings of immense power abusing it and making choices that affect human beings for personal gain and power. It’s short take on sad observations of what we live in every day.”
Additionally, The Plot In You will embark on a headline North American tour this fall.

The Plot In You delivered an absolutely gorgeous and cinematic rendition of the fan favorite track “FEEL NOTHING” from their 2018-released album DISPOSE. Through additional sonic elements, such as dark strings and bold percussion, the band took a fresh and invigorating approach to the already-loved original. This orchestral version of the track was mixed by the aforementioned Cervini. The original version of “FEEL NOTHING” is a digital success story that still streams over 2 million times per week and has gone on to achieve a Gold RIAA certification. It has truly enjoyed a beyond viral moment on TikTok and has continued to perform over time.
