Swedish synth-pop icons THE MOBILE HOMES have returned with the first single off their upcoming new album! “Via Dolorosa” is out now on all major platforms, and fans can check out the music video for the track here. The Mobile Homes are also proud to announce that they’ve signed with Wild Kingdom Records. It’s been over eleven years since the band’s last full-length, and now their long-awaited comeback record, titled ‘Trigger’, will see a release later this year.
The Mobile Homes formed in 1984, and have had various lineup arrangements since that time. Now, fans will hear founding members return: with brothers Andreas Brun, Patrik Brun, and Hans Erkendal, along with Sami Sirviö and Markus Mustonen (Kent).
The band has collaborated with Julian Beeston (Nitzer Ebb), and Denniz Pop, Karl Bartos (ex Kraftwerk), among others. They’ve also toured with bands such as Laibach and Nitzer Ebb. In 1998 they released the album ‘The Mobile Homes’, with Karl Bartos of Kraftwerk. Their sound has been compared to Depeche Mode.
