THE VELVETEERS Release New Video for “See Me”

BAND TOURING THROUGH THE FALL WITH THE BLACK KEYS + BAND OF HORSES, ALONG WITH DATES WITH GRETA VAN FLEET

Formidable, Colorado-based rock trio The Velveteers are the culmination of the raw power and electric voice of singer/guitarist Demi Demitro with the primal rhythm of drummers Baby Pottersmith and Johnny Fig, who share a conjoined drum kit.

Today, the band has shared the video for “See Me.”

The song was written during the recording sessions for the band’s Nightmare Daydream album, out now via Easy Eye Sound. While the track did not make the album initially, The Velveteers knew they would eventually share the song with the world, as it needed to be heard!

“‘See Me’ is a song about finding your way through the dark and coming into the light,” says Demitro. “It’s about finding forgiveness and empathy for those who have hurt you. It’s about wanting to be seen for who you really are, rather than the villain who someone makes you out to be in their head.”

The Velveteers will remain on the road through the fall. They support The Black Keys and Band of Horses amid headline dates. All upcoming The Velveteers shows are below, including dates with Greta Van Fleet in December and two hometown shows in January.

And live is truly where the band comes to life, with iHeart recently proclaiming “Rock and roll is all about breaking the rules – and believe us, The Velveteers broke all the rules.”
