Death metal trailblazers THE AGONIST are thrilled to be nominated for a 2022 JUNO Award – Canada’s most prestigious music award – in the “Metal/Hard Rock Album of the Year” category for their latest release, Days Before the World Wept, out now via Napalm Records! The 2022 JUNO Awards will broadcast and stream live on Sunday, May 15 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on CBC TV, CBC Gem, CBC Radio One, CBC Music, CBC Listen, and globally at CBCMusic.ca/junos.
 
Following yesterday’s nominee announcement, the band offered:

In other news, the band recently announced their first North American tour dates of 2022! THE AGONIST will join forces with Swedish death legends Hypocrisy for their upcoming Worship Tour, kicking off on April 29 in Brooklyn, NY and concluding in Baltimore, MD on May 29.
