In the years since the debut’s arrival, Pallbearer has grown into one of heavy music’s “most consistently brilliant acts” (Loudwire), with each ensuing release seeing the band’s sound expand, their musicianship grow, and the praise for the foursome become louder. On the band’s most recent release, 2020’s Forgotten Days, they explored mortality, offering their most personal, and vulnerable, collection to date. Consequence said upon release: “Pallbearer infuse their doom with a palpable emotional weight that verges on spiritual.” In the time since Forgotten Days’ release the group has been pushing forward, building their own studio, as well as writing and demoing songs for a planned 2023 release.
