Marilyn Manson Releases New Single & Kicks off Tour

Iconic rock legend MARILYN MANSON announces his eagerly anticipated return with the new single ‘As Sick As The Secrets Within,’ available for streaming now. Recently signed to Nuclear Blast Records, MANSON emerges with his first new music in 4 years; an intense, anthemic song recorded and co-produced with collaborator Tyler Bates.

The response for the single so far has been positive with many fans noting a return to form for Manson with his voice sounding clearer and stronger than it has in years. The song is reminiscent of the ‘Holywood’ era of the band but with a smoother, modern twist.

Manson has been generating buzz lately, even before the single was released, on his slimmed down physique and healthier look overall. Manson is no stranger to controversy and this wouldn’t be the first time he has emerged from a barrage of negative press stronger than before.

‘As Sick As The Secrets Within’ is accompanied by a music video directed by Bill Yukich. The imagery of the video is dark and introspective featuring a visual metaphor of Manson’s recent personal transformation.

MANSON has kicked off a tour with FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH and will perform a handful of headline shows during the Aug/Sept excursion.

Fan footage of Manson’s performance at the first show of the tour in Hershey, PA on August 2nd is very promising. His new live band currently consists of Gil Sharone on drums (from Stolen Babies & Manson 2014-2019), Reba Meyers on guitar (Code Orange), Tyler Bates on guitar (long time Manson collaborator and film soundtrack producer) and Matthew Montgomery (AKA Piggy D from Rob Zombie).

The group sounded tight, going through a set list of Manson’s heavier songs like “Angel with the Scabbed Wings,” “Say 10,” and, of course, “The Beautiful People.” Absent from the set list was anything off of We Are Chaos, Manson’s last album that was never supported by a tour thanks to the pandemic. Although, being sandwiched between Slaughter to Prevail and Five Finger Death Punch, it seems Manson wanted to bring out his metal A-game, which the band certainly pulled off.

Additionally, European tour dates have been announced and are on sale now for February 2025.
