HULKOFF releases single “Martial” from new album Pansarfolk due out in September 25th.

While fans are waiting for HULKOFF’s forthcoming solo album “Pansarfolk” to be released later this year, a third single “Martial (Vinland Edition)” from the album will begin streaming worldwide on June 12. Martial offers powerful vocals and
compelling tones while lyrics, music, and Scandinavian folk influences are
arranged in a rhythmic and almost perfect balance.
Martial has been inspired by a bygone era and comes with a distinct and
modern expression. HULKOFF’s deep vocals and enchanting composition
culminate in an excellent combination that awakens both fire and curiosity
in the listener.
“ Martial” is a strong personal favorite. I do believe that it is one of my top 5

compositions through the years. A deeply roboten folk tone meets arena-
metal.” , säger Pär Hulkoff.

Martial has been produced and mixed by Jonas Kjellgren (Black Lounge
Studio). Musicians include Ph.D. folklorist Thomas von Wachenfeld, who
has provided some highly skillful violin play. Anders Johansson
(Hammerfall, Yngwie Malmsten) plays the drums, whereas his son Karl
Johansson provides gifted and natural-sounding bass play.
Pansarfolk is HULKOFF’s second solo album and will be released in the
fall of 2020. The album’s theme and instrumentation bring listeners back
in time, to the harsh history of the Old North where folk tales and
mythology are interspersed with historical events from the Viking Age and
older eras. To serve a wider audience, Pansarfolk will be released in two
languages; Swedish and English — entitled Svitjod Edition and Vinland
Edition, respectively.
