Fight The Fight to raise funds for Redd Barna with their first-ever Livestream show

Norwegian high-octane metallers Fight The Fight will stream their first-ever online live show from Newtone Sessions Studio, Oslo, on Tuesday, April 21st at 20CET//2PM EST via Fight The Fight‘s Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/Fightthefightband/. The band will perform songs from the upcoming album, Deliverance (due September 18th), plus hard-hitting classics from their self-titled debut.

All funds raised during the show will be donated to “Redd Barna & Redd Barna i Moria”, a Norwegian rescue organization helping the children in a refugee camp: Moria in Lesbos, Greece. Join the event here: https://www.facebook.com/events/2595913117334833/

The band comments: “We would like to donate the money being raised during our livestream to some of the people who need it the most. Poor, innocent children being trapped in overfilled refugee camps in circumstances most of us can’t imagine. As Covid-19 spreads and people are dying, many of these are left alone with no family, care or help. If we can contribute by playing a rock ‘n’ roll show…This is what we’re going to do.”

With their 2017 debut album, Fight The Fight already showed that they deliberated their musical boundaries while aiming for a diverse, and experimental sound. Within this sound, there’s always a lot of power, energy and hard-hitting grooves. After this strong debut album and big shows, Fight The Fight are closer to their goal than ever before.

Within the last years, the band was given chances to tour and support bands like Avenged Sevenfold, Ministry, Kvelertak, Hatebreed, Devin Townsend Project, and August Burns Red, plus appear at festivals like Reeperbahn Festival, Summer Breeze and Wacken Open Air. This once more shows the diversity and their great way to adjust to many other bands, due to their universal, but unique sound. With streaming counts beyond 3 million on their debut album, and music videos with 750k+ plays, the band already got many fans around the world. In 2020, the band will finally follow up their well-received and critically acclaimed self-titled debut album. Their highly anticipated sophomore album pushes the band’s boundaries (if they ever existed) even further into new territories. Deliverance will be released via Blacklight Media Records (North America) and Indie Recordings (worldwide excluding North America) on September 18th!

In Christianity, deliverance ministry (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deliverance_ministry) refers to the activity of cleansing a person of demons and evil spirits in order to address problems manifesting in their life as a result of the presence of said entities and the root causes of their authority to oppress the person. The band states: “You can say that in many ways writing this album has been a path to set free our individual alter egos. These are all coming out in the lyrics during the album. It is not about cleansing but realizing. Always be true to yourself and everyone around you. Sometimes you have to let that beast out and here it is, a beast of an album!”
