Third Album ‘High Heeled Monster’

Due Out August 25th | Pre-Order HERE

Today, VELVET INSANE release the second single from the upcoming album ‘High Heeled Monster’, this time they team up with Dregen (The Hellacopters, Backyard Babies), Chips Kiesbey (Sator) and Bonni Pontén (Asta Kask).

“Noisy band, noisy song with a lot of feeling, just the way I like it! An honor to be a part of it!” — Bonni Pontén

The song “Saturday Night ‘Til Sunday Mornin”, a perfect pre-party anthem at the campsite before the rock festival, is a cover of the legendary punk band Slaughter And The Dogs.

“Slaughter And The Dogs’ debut album was one of the first albums I bought in the late 70s. That record showed me how to play guitar and write songs. We played several of their songs in my first band. It is an honor to be a part of this. This is a later song but as good as their early ones and Velvet Insane is definitely the right band for this” — Chips

So once again, put on your dancing shoes, throw your fist up in the sky and roar along!

‘High Heeled Monster’ is the bands third album and it’s recorded in the legendary Sunlight Studio with Tomas Skogsberg (Entombed, The Hellacopters, Backyard Babies) as the producer. The album is full of stadium hits with choruses that will echo in your brain for days, powerfull ballads that will shiver down to your core and high energy rock ‘n’ roll that will make you stomp your feet and sing along.

If you’re a fan of true rock’n’roll that sounds like David Bowie joined Sweet, whilst taking inspiration from Hanoi Rocks and The Ark, after a decadent night at one of London’s rock clubs – we assure you that anyone who comes out to see a Velvet Insane concert will leave with a big smile on their face.
