“This release has been a long time coming for us. It took us 3 years to write, record, and put out this album. Recorded ourselves in the comfort of our own home, we hope everyone really connects to each of these songs and feels the emotion that we poured into this project. This is our first big release, fully independent, and we are very proud of the content we’ve made. We can’t wait for everybody to hear what we’ve been working on all this time.” – Post Profit

ABOUT POST PROFIT

POST PROFIT is an alternative rock quartet hailing from Longview, Texas composed of Matt Jackson on lead vocals and guitar, Nick Hawner on guitar, Jordan Conley on bass, and Zach Hicks on drums. The band draws from many influences, including Deftones, Incubus, and Foo Fighters, among several other notable acts. POST PROFIT has had the pleasure of playing with some heavy-hitting and well-known acts such as FILTER, BLACKTOP MOJO, SALIVA, DROWNING POOL, ZEBRA, SMILE EMPTY SOUL, AND SONS OF TEXAS. The band has recently performed at WELCOME TO ROCKVILLE 2021, where they opened for bands such as LYNYRD SKYNYRD, and METALLICA. The band also performed at ARKLATEX TATTOO EXPO 2021, SO WHAT?! MUSIC FESTIVAL 2019, and INK LIFE FESTIVAL 2018 along with countless shows regionally in the Texas area.

ETX MUSIC AWARDS crowned POST PROFIT AS “METAL ARTIST OF THE YEAR” in 2018 and “ROCK BAND OF THE YEAR” in 2019, which shows the band’s ability to blend between the different genres seamlessly. This also allows them to fit alongside so many great acts, and not to be pinned down so easily to one niche or fanbase – and all the while, DO IT WELL. In 2019, POST PROFIT also won the “ROUGHNECK HARLEY-DAVIDSON” BATTLE OF THE BANDS and the “SO WHAT?! MUSIC FESTIVAL” BATTLE OF THE BANDS. But, the story keeps growing from there and 2020 saw even more success for the group. They were nominated for the “SEA AWARD” FOR LIVE BAND OF THE YEAR, and their single “SAME SAD SONG” was remastered and released to radio.

This led to one of POST PROFIT’S most notable achievements yet, when the single granted them their first debut on THE OFFICIAL BILLBOARD TOP 40 CHARTS FOR MAINSTREAM ROCK, reaching a high of #23.
