Oct. 28, 2020, LOS ANGELES – Ken Andrews, the critically-revered musician behind Failure, Year of the Rabbit and ON, as well as an acclaimed producer and mixer (Beck, Nine Inch Nails, Jimmy Eat World), has released the five-song What’s Coming EP via Red Swan Records (Spotify: https://spoti.fi/3e3m7RQ; Apple Music: https://apple.co/3oxIWC8). The EP news arrives with a video for “Sword and Shield” (https://youtu.be/K8fjmqAu_1E) “This song has two firsts for me, one is that it is the first overtly political song I have ever written, and two, I wrote the video concept and the song at the same time,” explains Andrews. “Making this video was something I simply had to do. Thankfully, my friend and amazing actor, David Dastmalchian, who was as motivated as I was, took the video to another level with his performance.”

What’s Coming tracklist:
Ken Andrews singularly released 1997’s Secrets of the Lost Satellite and the subsequent live album, Live (Secrets of the Lost Satellite Tour). Andrews came to prominence with Failure, the LA-based trio he co-founded. Failure formed in 1990, released a trio of albums, including one of the era’s most seminal releases: Fantastic Planet (1996) before the band’s 1997 break-up. Failure reunited in 2014 and have since released two full-length albums: The Heart Is A Monster (2015) and In the Future Your Body Will Be the Furthest Thing From Your Mind (2018). Ken’s career outside of Failure has been equally remarkable, forming ON and The Year of the Rabbit as well as enjoying a successful career as a producer and mixer. His work behind-the-scenes has included producing/mixing releases for Beck, Tenacious D, A Perfect Circle, Nine Inch Nails, Paramore, Jimmy Eat World and Underoath.
