Monday, September 28th, 2020 – (Los Angeles, CA)- Joseph Bishara, one of the most highly decorated and prolific composers in modern horror, has unveiled the release date for his upcoming album, “the Spiderweb Meditations”. Described by Joseph as “music for active or passive listening”, the album is comprised of five darkly flavored and emotionally immersive soundscapes from the mind that bought you the scores to some of the biggest and most successful worldwide franchises such as Insidious 1,2 and 3 and The Conjuring 1 and 2. “the Spiderweb Meditations” will be released this Friday, October 2nd on void recordings . Pre-save “the Spiderweb Meditations” here and find a 60s audio teaser of “Spiderweb Mediation #4” here or by clicking the image below.

To celebrate the release of “the Spiderweb Meditations”, Joseph Bishara has partnered with Zombie Joe’s Underground Theatre to create a series of visual companion pieces to each of the five tracks. These will be released daily at 8pm PDT on Joseph’s YouTube channel and fans are encouraged to join each day to mediate collectively. Speaking on the inspiration for this wildly creative audio and visual pairing, Bishara shares

“These recordings were made with few overdubs, from setups designed to be approached as a singular movement of energy.
Music for active or passive listening.
At the time, as with years before, I was observing and photographing the many spiderwebs around me, some new nightly along with many very old.
The resulting imagery was animated and projected onto cast members of Zombie Joe’s Underground, and we present them for active or passive viewing.
Meditate with us.”

Fans can participate in a number of ways both socially distanced in person and virtually online. More information on the event can be found here. Donations can be made here.
