| IMMINENCE — vocalist and violinist Eddie Berg, guitarists Harald Barrett and Alex Arnoldsson, drummer Peter Hanström, and bass player Christian Höijer —have released the video for their new single “Ghost,” a psychedelic and supernatural cinematic experience that flirts with the occult and explores the darkest corners of the mind.

“Ghost” follows “Heaven In Hiding,” which instantly became the fastest growing release in the band’s history, an accolade previously held by the May 2021-released track “Temptation.” Once again, the group displays its unrestrained, diverse, and dynamic approach with “‘Ghost.”
Director Pavel Trebukhin and IMMINENCE have invested more time and effort than ever on the video production, ensuring the viewer experiences a completely new level of artistic storytelling by continuing to raise the bar for themselves.
The new single is a hard-hitting fireball, mixing influences that haven’t been heard from the band since their breakthrough 2015 single “The Sickness.” It also features an unmistakable violin performance by singer Berg.
“‘Ghost’ is a perfect example of how the creative flow in Imminence just knows no boundaries,” says Barrett. “We don’t follow trends or try to fit our art into a format; rather, we’re always eager to explore the unexpected.”
The new single was recorded, mixed, and mastered in Sweden by Henrik Udd, an award-winning producer that has worked on some of the most critically acclaimed albums by acts such as Architects, Bring Me the Horizon, and At the Gates.
Imminence also announced a European headline tour taking place in 19 cities during February and March 2022. These will be the band’s biggest headline shows to date.
Following the release of Turn The Light On: Deluxe Edition, an album era that has acted as a significant milestone for the band, where Imminence took the step from being a promising up and comer to an established headline act, “Ghost” is the third heavy transmission from the band in recent months.
With an album that placed in the Top 100 Official German Album charts, a sold-out run of album release shows, a 100% increase in ticket sales, and doubled venue capacities during the last European headline tour, Imminence are proving to be one of the fastest growing acts in the scene today.
Imminence formed in the southern most part of Sweden and have over the years become one of the country’s most promising acts with a diverse sound and universe, embracing everything from metalcore to acoustic sounds. Founded in 2010 by Berg and Barrett when they were just teenagers, the band grew organically with a constantly expanding fanbase all over the world while touring actively in Europe since the release of the band’s breakthrough single “The Sickness”(2015). Imminence have released three studio albums, I (2014), This Is Goodbye (2017), andTurn the Light On (2019).
