FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE RETURNS TO NORTH AMERICA IN 2020
ACCOMPANIED BY CLASSICAL QUARTET

Italian orchestral-death metal giants FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE will make their triumphant return to North America in 2020 in support of their critically lauded album, Veleno. For the first time in the band’s celebrated career they’ll be doing a full tour accompanied by a classical string quartet, which will be an unprecedented experience for death metal fans.

FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE will be joined by special guests THE AGONIST on the excursion, that begins in Dallas, TX on March 16th and culminates in Los Angeles on April 6th. Ticket onsales are listed below.

About a year ago, we had the pleasure to perform a special show in our hometown with a classical string quintet. We filmed the entire event and, a few months later, it became our first ever official live Blu-Ray, “An Evening In Perugia.” Right after that, we’ve been literally flooded with requests from all over the world to make it happen abroad. Everyone in our team, including band, management and label, could only work at making it happen as soon as possible.

Italian for ‘venom’, Veleno marks FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE’s first record in 3 years, since the release of their critically acclaimed record King (2016). The ‘metal part’ of Veleno was recorded in Rome, Italyat Bloom Recording Studio and Kick Studio with long-standing collaborator Marco Mastrobuono, while the ‘orchestral part’ – the ensembles – were tracked at Musica Teclas Studio in Perugia. Fleshgod Apocalypse then took the effort over to Grammy-nominated Jacob Hansen (VOLBEAT, THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, EPICA) at Hansen Studios in Denmark for mixing and mastering. The entire production of Veleno took, according to Paoli, about three months. Artwork for the album was created by Travis Smith (AVENGED SEVENFOLD, OPETH, KATATONIA).
