Band Tapped to Open for Sevendust on the Upcoming Leg of Their Animosity Anniversary Tour Starting on April 29th – Tickets Now Available Here: |
(New York, NY) Michigan progressive rock quintet DEEPFALL are back with a music video for their latest single “Revolution.” “Revolution” marks the first piece of new music from the band -comprised of Terry DeWit on vocals, Tim Ossenfort on guitar, Tim King on keyboards, Taylor Brandt on bass and Jim Sully on drums – since their 2019 EP Broken. DEEPFALL worked with acclaimed producer Michael “Elvis” Baskette (Mammoth WVH, Alter Bridge, Myles Kennedy, Sevendust) on the single and the song showcases the band’s evolution musically. The opening drumbeat, and accompanying keyboard melody instantly catches the listener as the vocal hook comes in to sing “it’s a revolution.” The track is currently being serviced to active rock radio and will officially impact next month. “Revolution” is available via all streaming services including Apple Music and Spotify. The music video is available via the band’s YouTube channel and can be seen here: https://youtu.be/xtlc7GQvr70. “This song is for the people!” exclaims DEEPFALL vocalist Terry DeWit. “Technology is being used more and more as a weapon or tool to manipulate humanity and cause division; it has changed the fabric of our society forever. People need to pay attention to what’s important in life like family, friends, and pay more attention to what is real and right in front of them. We need to treat our fellow humans better and not get caught up in the fake online world that manipulates our way of thinking.” On the heels of the release of their new single, DEEPFALL will be heading out on tour in support of their new music. The band has been tapped to open for Sevendust on the current leg of their 21st Anniversary of the Animosity record. The tour will hit 16 markets with DEEPFALL including the kickoff in band’s hometown of Grand Rapids, MI on April 29th. The tour will also make stops in Detroit, MI; Cleveland, OH; Huntington, NY; Philadelphia, PA and Baltimore, MD among others. These upcoming dates will mark the band’s first time on the road since February 2020; when they spent time on the road opening for Alter Bridge. Tickets for all shows can be found via the band’s website at: https://www.deepfallband.com.

DEEPFALL draw on dynamic musical perspectives to deliver a hard-hitting hybrid of rock, metal, and alternative. The Grand Rapids, MI band unites five diverse musicians whose inspirations span an expansive spectrum. The quintet—Terry DeWit [vocals], Tim Ossenfort [guitar], Jim Sully [drums], Taylor Brandt [bass], Tim King [keyboards]—have quietly made waves. A shared devotion to music ultimately brought them together too. A lifelong musician, Sully cut his teeth as a percussionist in school bands. In between playing bass since his childhood, Taylor served as an Airborne Infantryman in Afghanistan. Hailing from Grand Rapids, Terry performed in a handful of bands and won various competitions as a vocal dynamo. The youngest of the bunch, Tim diligently developed precision and proficiency on guitar since his childhood. In the midst of a successful career as a network architect, King taught himself keys and learned music theory and voice. Variations of DEEPFALL date as far back as 2013, but in 2017 King and Sully started pushing DEEPFALL forward to eventually be joined by Terry, Taylor and Tim. Following their 2019 debut Broken, they hit the road with HELLYEAH, Texas Hippie Coalition, Sevendust, Alter Bridge, and Clint Lowery, building an enthusiastic fan base and racking up over 100K Spotify streams and counting. With Terry in the fold as of 2021, they caught the attention of producer Michael “Elvis” Baskette who invited them to his Florida studio to record Revolution over the course of three weeks. Now, they properly introduce a scorching and soaring signature sound on the aptly titled Revolution. |
