Post-punk revivalists RUN WITH HOUNDS have revealed a new video for the quirky Cleopatra Records single “Red Hands.”
“‘Red Hands’ is the third single from RUN WITH HOUNDS on Cleopatra Records,” the band says. “The lyrics tell a pulp magazine style drama of betrayal that is all at once painfully sincere and shrewdly tongue in cheek.”
Originally hailing from New Orleans, Connecticut and Los Angeles, RUN WITH HOUNDS was inaugurated in January 2019 in Orange County, CA, and quickly gained local attention from their intensely frenetic live performances. The baritone echo drenched vocals of singer Lex Vincent are sandwiched by surfy reverb and chorus laden guitars from Matt Haynes, while the overdriven bass hooks of Jordan Condrey sync in with the aggressive drums coming from powerhouse Shaun Ervin.
RUN WITH HOUNDS combines upbeat garage rock hooks with a post-punk gloomy atmosphere, placing them somewhere between The Hives and Joy Division.
