Once Upon A Flatline Release “Hang Hymn High”

Buffalo, NY – Once Upon A Flatline has drawn back the black curtains on their third single “Hang Hymn High” from their highly anticipated EP The Theatre Lucy. A Gothic metal/ theatrical post-hardcore six-piece band of musicians who bring Sweeney Todd and My Chemical Romance to life in each of their monumental productions. Their music carries a sweep of dramatic stage presence and it holds their audience captive. “Hang Hymn High” is truly an inspirational storytelling music drama and it brings a needed message.

‘”Inspired by the sultry jazz infused musical Chicago, “Hang Hymn High” is the story of murder, right and wrong. Once Upon a Flatline continues their concept driven metal album with this track, fueled by a powerful message against Domestic Violence and justice for victims against their abusers. Thanks for listening.”‘ – Once Upon A Flatline

Once Upon a Flatline is a 6 piece post-hardcore band with passionate theatrical and artistic elements. Dedicated to keep up with their motif of storytelling, the band is inspired to have each musical release be concept-driven and tell a story. Currently, OUAFL is in the process of releasing singles as apart of the EP – The Theatre Lucy an anthology based ghost story, where each song is inspired by a different, famous Broadway musical. They are currently in studio finishing the last of 7 songs for The Theatre Lucy with two tracks done going into 2020 and the release of a music video on the horizon. Here’s to the New Year and the future of Once Upon a Flatline, there is so much more to come.

This is the third single off of the late-summer due EP The Theatre Lucy by concept-driven theatrical rock band, Once Upon a Flatline. Each song is inspired by a different Broadway musical number, told by the ghosts who haunt the theatre. Engineered by Nate White.
