HAMMERHEDD Announce Worldwide Release of Debut Studio Album ‘Grand Currents’ – OUT NOW on Streaming/Digital

Hailing from Kansas City, fraternal teenage thrash metal stalwarts HAMMERHEDD have been making waves for the last three years by delivering a brand of technically savvy and highly prog-influenced thrash that is far beyond their years.

Today, the band is proud to announce that they have partnered with The Orchard for worldwide distribution of the debut LP, ‘Grand Currents’. The album is out today (March 19) on digital/streaming platforms, with a vinyl release slated for April 30th (Vinyl Pre-Order HERE).

Speaking about the worldwide release of their debut album, the band comments:
“We are super excited to share this new batch of songs with everyone! We wrote ‘Grand Currents’ with a bunch of new influences in mind; it took us a whole year to write it. We were very focused on making an album that really meant something to us and stood the test of time, and we’re really proud of the way it turned out. It means the world to us to be able to share this next chapter of Hammerhedd with our fans.”

Helmed by brothers Henry (19), Eli (16), and Abe Ismert (14), HAMMERHEDD deliver an almost veteran-like presence that could only be achieved through true workmanship. Fans and newcomers alike will instantly admire their ambitious trappings that honor some of metal’s finest vanguards. Critics are quick to note the obvious influence of acts like Gojira, Meshuggah, and Mastodon on their sludge-heavy sound.
