April 13, 2020 – Elder, the Boston-born band who release their fifth full-length album, Omens, on April 24 via Armageddon Shop, have announced their rescheduled North American tour with the dates now kicking off on Nov. 11. Tour dates: November 11 Brooklyn, NY Elsewhere November 12 Philadelphia, PA Underground Arts November 13 Richmond, VA Richmond Music Hall November 14 Wilmington, NC Reggies November 15 Asheville, NC Mothlight November 17 Lexington, KY Cosmic Charlie’s November 18 Nashville, TN Mercy Lounge November 19 Atlanta, GA The Earl November 20 New Orleans, LA One Eyed Jack’s November 21 Houston, TX Secret Group November 22 Austin, TX Barracuda November 24 Albuquerque, NM Sister Bar November 25 Denver, CO Hi Dive November 27 St. Paul, MN Turf Club November 28 Chicago, IL Reggies November 29 Columbus, OH Spacebar December 1 Detroit, MI Sanctuary December 2 Toronto, ON Lee’s Palace December 3 Montreal, QC Petit Campus December 4 Quebec City, QC L’Anti December 5 Boston, MA Middle East The Fall trek was originally slated for May. Tickets for all shows are on-sale now with tickets to the original Boston show at ONCE being automatically refunded (the show has been moved to Middle East). Previously announced performances in Dallas and Cleveland have been cancelled and will be refunded. All other previously purchased tickets will remain valid for their respective venues. Elder is Nick DiSalvo (guitar, vocals, keyboards), Jack Donvan (bass), Michael Risberg (guitars, keyboards) and Georg Edert (drums). The New Bedford, Mass. born band have released four, full-length studio albums: Elder (2008), Dead Roots Stirring (2011), Lore (2015) and Reflections of a Floating World (2017). Rolling Stone placed Reflections of a Floating World at #5 on their Best Metal albums of the Year, describing their music as “sheer gatefold-era grandeur,” Kerrang! said the band has earned “a place amongst heavy rock royalty,” and Paste described the quartet’s music as “one of the very best heavy rock attacks on the planet.” # # # | ||
