Can’t Swim Share “To Heal At All, You Have To Feel It All” Video — Watch + Listen

NEW ALBUM CHANGE OF PLANS OUT OCTOBER 22 ON PURE NOISE

TOURING WITH SILVERSTEIN + THE PLOT IN YOU THIS FALL

The chase is on!

CAN’T SWIM have just shared the video for the new song “To Heal at All, You Have to Feel It All.” Watch + listen here or here.

The song crackles with push and pull sonic energy, while the cinematic visual follows a pair of protagonists on the run. From what? Tune in to find out. The ending just might surprise you.

“To Heal at All You, Have to Feel it All’ is a song about being haunted by the ghosts of your past,” says singer Chris LoPorto. “I wrote the entire thing on an airplane because I was having these awful nightmares. The progression is a six times signature where the drums are in four four. When I presented the demo to Will Putney, he thought the chorus felt a little better with the drums also and six going into the recording process actually thought this song was one of the weakest part of the 12, but wound up being one of the strongest and that’s why we decided to use it for the single.”

The New Jersey band will drop its new album Change of Plans, out October 22 on Pure Noise Records. Pre-order the album here

Change of Plans was produced, mixed, and mastered by Will Putney of Graphic Nature Audio (A Day to Remember, Every Time I Die, Body Count, Knocked Loose) and is a culmination of everything Can’t Swim have been building and exploring over the last six years, combining their signature visceral lyricism and cathartic rock sound with influences ranging from the worlds of folk to EDM. One could say it’s a little bit of everything all rolled into one, and in a way, that’s true. When life is more unpredictable than ever, Can’t Swim are striking the perfect balance of hope and realism by writing songs that embrace the chaos of life. They want to find and harness a vibe that makes living a bit easier for everyone, and with each release, they’re getting closer to that goal.
