Announces Rotating Direct Support Acts
Destruction, Warbringer and Cephalic Carnage

MAX & IGGOR CAVALERA are stoked to announce the rotation of openers on their Return Beneath Arise Tour, featuring metal giants DESTRUCTION as direct support for May 22, WARBRINGER (May 23 to June 8) & CEPHALIC CARNAGE (June 10 to June 25)  – And now just added to the CAVALERA’s Return Beneath Arise Tour is MAX’s son IGOR CAVALERA’s band HEALING MAGIC, who will open all dates.

Celebrate with original founding members of influential heavy metal legends and RIAA Gold-Certified SEPULTURA. MAX & IGGOR CAVALERA will perform a hybrid setlist exclusively of cuts from these two iconic albums Beneath the Remains and Arise.  This tour runs throughout the United States in May and June of 2022.

Since SEPULTURA’s formation over 30 years ago, the CAVALERA brothers have each seen unparalleled success in the music industry. MAX’s more recent work with SOULFLY, GO AHEAD AND DIE, CAVALERA CONSPIRACY (also featuring IGGOR) and KILLER BE KILLED, in addition to IGGOR’s projects MIXHELL, PETBRICK, and SOULWAX, proves the lasting power of the CAVALERA legacy.

It’s safe to say that the releases of Beneath The Remains (1989) and Arise (1991) completely changed the landscape of metal music throughout the world.

MAX states “After Covid-19 us Metal Heads need to release our aggression with some Beneath The Remains and Arise!” IGGOR adds “Can’t wait to perform our Return Beneath Arise Tour for our North American fans. See you in the Pit!!!”

About HEALING MAGIC:

HEALING MAGIC are a natural force of raw sludge, splicing fuzzed-out riffage, ritualistic rhythms and colossal heaviness amidst drifts of smoke and psychedelics. The duo, hailing from the deserts of Arizona, take influence from the majesty of the mountains, mesas and spirit of the Canyon State, imparting the music with a blazing desert vibe. Each song is like a trip into a dark fantasy world; a world teeming with a sense of despair, urgency and unknown dangers. Truly a unique sound, rife with crunching overdrive that is only complimented by subtle melodies and epic song structuring.

Riff-writer and storyteller IGOR AMADEUS CAVALERA wields his guitar and array of amplifiers like a powerful mage, blasting out sonic magic through his speakers while also commanding incantations, shrieking like a witch, and chanting in ways that will leave you entranced under his spell. Drum and cymbal destroyer JOHNNY VALLES smashes and crashes like a hammer wielding warrior, delivering earth shattering drumbeats with ease and holding down rhythms that shake the very building he’s in. The duo together is a true marvel to witness live, and nearly impossible to believe that so much raw noise and energy could come from just two people. A magic all their own.

Lyrically, the band is centered around the story of The Healer and The Tyrant, in an ever-constant struggle between light and dark. Volume 1: Fire is the first album in the epic saga which will unfold in the years to come. Dealing heavily in mysticism, adventure and pain, the words are sure to strike a chord with you as much as the music.

HEALING MAGIC is the conjunction between epic storytelling and gritty heavy metal, and as they continue to expand their spell-book through albums and live performances, the adventure will be sure to captivate you.
