March 28, 2019, LONDON — As they gear up for their much-anticipated new album, End Of Suffering (May 3, International Death Cult), Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes release their most personal track to date, “Anxiety” (https://fcatr.lnk.to/anxietyPR).
The band recently announced the launch of #abetterplaceforyouandme, an online initiative in conjunction with UK charity CALM (thecalmzone.net), to provide a safe forum for people to discuss ways of overcoming and living with anxiety. For more information on the campaign, please visit andtherattlesnakes.com.
“Whatever life is throwing at you right now, it will pass,” says Carter. “Choose to let it hit you, or duck and watch it fly past much faster and off into your history, of which there have been many obstacles thrown your way and you have overcome them all.”
“Anxiety” is the latest taste of the forthcoming album, recorded with Cam Blackwood (George Ezra/Jack Savoretti) at the helm and legendary mixer Alan Moulder (Nine Inch Nails/Queens Of The Stone Age) sprinkling sonic stardust.
The album also features Tom Morello as a guest guitarist on “Tyrant Lizard King.” The two re-connected after many years at Resurrection Festival in Spain last summer, where Frank infamously sang the Rage classic “Killing In The Name” to a 40,000 strong crowd.
The band previously shared the song/video for “Crowbar” (https://youtu.be/dF16_JRFC08). Album pre-orders are available via https://fcatr.lnk.to/EndOfSufferingPR.
